Speaking of God, Luther writes

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! (“Shout! God is mighty! The victory’s won!) Here Ye, Hear Ye. Fear Not! (“Fear not! The victory’s won!). Okay! Just checking to see if our VBS children and their teachers remember any of the “take - home” points from VBS! The theme of which was “Mighty Fortress.” Martin Luther penned the words to the theme hymn of VBS – “A Mighty Fortress is Our God” -a vivid acknowledgement and reminder of the power and might of God. Luther wrote the words of the hymn over five hundred years ago and yet those very words resonate clearly, boldly, passionately, and profoundly, in the hearts of Christians everywhere still to this day.
